 II.  PURPOSE OF THE COURSE:

The purpose of the course is to give a comprehensive global survey of the growth, spread, and development of the Christian church from Pentecost to the Reformation, thus providing the student with a better overview and grasp of the history of Christianity.

 III.  OBJECTIVES OF THE COURSE:

Upon successful completion of the course, the student should be able to trace the history of the Church from Pentecost to the Reformation.  The student should be able to differentiate between the true Church of Jesus and non-Christian churches.  The student should gain an appreciation of the heritage of the true Church that is our heritage today.

While this is a self-paced course, CTU recommends that you finish the lessons at a pace of 1 lesson every two weeks.
